OK, thanks for this folks.

Did the --nodeps and it all seems to have installed OK, however, when I
start multisync now, I get a message saying that one of the plug ins is
missing (evolution) and so I can't make the pair between evolution and
zaurus.

The zaurus one is there just fine however.

If I try and install the evolution one by itself, it says that its
already installed.
