FYI: /dev/pilot is for PalmOS-based devices, so it is not relevant for
your iPAQ.

As Bo wrote, the order shouldn't matter, but I always have Evolution
first and SynCE last.
You should also make sure that the command-line SynCE tools (pls and
pstatus for example) work properly before you try to use the MultiSync
plugin.
