I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but after spending quite a while with google, I still have not discovered how to connect my T610 to MultiSync. I'm using the latest multisync (0.81), and I setup a synchronization pair between and IrMC Mobile Device and the backup plugin. I configured the IrMC Mobile Device with the IR connection type.
I clicked on "Search for units" I got a dialog box telling me to turn on the IR device I told the T610 to turn on IR for 10 minutes I point the T610 directly at the IR port I told the dialog box: okay I get a message: Search done. 0 units found. FWIW, I'm running Mandrake 9.2 (kernel 2.4.22) on a Compaq Armada M700.
