The 3.X ROM isn't supported for two reasons:
1) Last I looked, the english documentation for the new PIM data formats
was not very good. That was some time ago, mind you.
2) I don't have a device capable of running a Sharp ROM (I run Opie on
my iPaq).

I don't mind hacking a bit to get around lack of documentation, but #2
is the big stopper. Unless I acquire a Zaurus at some point I probably
won't be able to do anything. Right now I am trying to put a bit of time
into helping improve the open-source Opie sync process instead.

The formats you see from Qtopia desktop used to be the same as the ones
used on your Zaurus (2.X ROM), but not any more. 

Sorry I can't give you better news. If you try running OpenZaurus/Opie
on your SL-5600 instead of the Sharp ROM you should be able to sync.
