I've installed bluez, libopenobex-1.0.0 and multisync-0.80 from the official contrib rpm packages on my Mandrake 9.2 system. Gnome Bluetooth is able to discover my phone and its services, so bluez seems to be ok. The packages documentation states that the rpm packages contain all plugins and in paraticular IrMC and Bluetooth support. I have no reason to doubt of this, since the package effectively depends from bluez-libs.
However, when I start the Multisync application and select the IrMC plugin, Bluetooth support is disabled (grayed). Do you have any idea why? I have two hypotheses :
1. Somehow, bluez is still not configured properly in some way
2. libopenobex-1.0.0-mdk.rpm that I've installed seems to be compiled without Bluetooth support. At least it does not depend from any bluez lib. Maybe that in this case Multisync needs that and appropriately disables Bluetooth support from IrMC?
Any idea? I thank you in advance and I wish you a good day!
Thierry
P.S: Sorry if I ask a question that has already been posted. I've searched with Google, but didn't find any answer. And the multisync-users archive is not available now.
