Care to elaborate on that? I use the CVS version on a daily basis to sync between my T610, Zaurus running OZ 3.2/Opie 1.0.2 and Evolution and am rather happy with it (as long as I observe the current limitations, such as editing a contact on my T610 will erase all fields that it does not support...), so maybe if you'd be a tiny bit more verbose on why "you regret it", somebody might be able to come up with a meaningful answer.
