Hello,

first of all I need to say that I'm really impressed with how easy &
convenient multisync was to install & set up! I had my Palm (serial) and
Siemens S55 (bluetooth) sync via multisync in no time! No fumbling with
yet another config syntax, just plug & go. Wow.

Now here's my question:

The "master" copy of my Address DB is on my Palm, with occasional editing
on my Linux desktop, to which the Palm is synced using KPilot. This has
been working very well.

Since the Palm <--multisync--> S55 link was added to the picture,
changes made on the Palm are only propagated to the device with which
I sync it first. I.e. if I (KPilot-)sync the Palm with my desktop
first, then a subsequent hotsync of Palm and S55 via multisync simply
says "Found 0 changes".

So it seems that the Palm itself no longer considers the changes new.
Is there any way around that?

As a plan B, it would also suffice to do a one-way sync from the
Palm to the mobile, updating all S55 records regardless of
whether Palm records have changed or not. Is that possible without
deleting the S55 phonebook and doing a full resync every time (which
would delete voicedial samples and caller group data on the Palm)?

Thanks a lot in advance for any ideas you might have!

Regards,
--Andreas
