If I make a recurring event in Evolution that lasts forever, synchronize that to my T68 (which needs fake recurring events), find out that the phone's calendar is running out of memory, then I change the recurring event to end next week instead to work around it (because there was no plugin option to configure how far in the future I want events to be synchronized last time I checked), then try synchronizing again, shouldn't the excess events be deleted? Right now I seem to have to reset the phone's memory to get rid of them?
