Hi,

I am trying to sync a P800 with Evolution (plugin one: SyncML, plugin
two: Evolution). Pushing entries from the phone to the PC works
alright, but the other direction works only sometimes (I successfully
added details to one name, but the removal of a trailing dot from a
phone number wasn't transmitted). I was entirely unable to get new
Evolution address entries to be synced onto the phone. When I tried to
change the sync direction to plugin two -> plugin one (in
Edit/Filters), because I hoped that might transport the PC data onto
the phone, the radiobuttons jumped back to plugin one -> plugin two
all the time, and each time I touch these settings I get a log message
"Failed to get first plugin changes: Unknown error"

I suspect this error message is because the P800 doesn't offer a
SyncML server, it has a client that has to be invoked on the phone. So
you can't pull the changes from the phone by initiative of Multisync,
as far as I understand.

When I try to change the Sync direction, the debug output looks like this:
,----

I am using the multisync_0.82.cvs20040322-1 Debian package.

Anyway, thank you for your work!

Michael
