Hello,

I'm trying to sync a P900 with Evolution with the MultiSync plugin. From
what I can read most of people have been tried (successfully) with IR or
BT connection but here i am trying via the USB cradle. The USB
connection works fine for me (~10 ko/s) since I can use the excellent
p3nfsd with the P900 (to mount the phone memory as a NFS partition on
my linux).

But I have problems with the SyncML plugin. Has anyone a successful
story with Multisync/P900 via USB?

I have followed the instructions published on the Edd Dumbill blog and
cleaned my p900/evolution addressbook (just one entry for each of them).
The connection is established, some Syncml data are exchanged, but.. the
process failed while the P900 syncml client GUI is displaying
"writting".

Here the tail of the log with 'export MULTISYNC_DEBUG=1':

SyncML: Using SyncML 1.0
SyncML: The maximum message size is 200000 bytes.
SyncML: Action: 1 0 1 0
Got message 1
Dwelling...
SyncML: Told sync engine to get changes.
SyncML: Got engine cmd: 2
SyncML: Action: 1 0 0 0
SyncML: Sending sync status.
SyncML: SyncML disconnected.
SyncML: Got disconnection, reasaon 0.
SyncML: SyncML server: Got error 1.
SyncML: Resetting state.
Got message 7
Syncthread: Exiting.
Disconnecting view...
Disconnecting ebook...
Disconnecting addressbook done.
SyncML: Got engine cmd: 5

Hmm..
SyncML: Got disconnection, reasaon 0.
SyncML: SyncML server: Got error 1.

Yes this is is not very verbose..
Any help would be appreciated..

BTW I like to congratulate Multisync coders as this project is IMHO the
real reason to use Evolution (compared to other PIM software).

Regards,

Vincent
