Hi. I have a Siemens SL55 phone and with a serial port IrDA adapter I can sync using multisync with no problems. However multisync always fails when using a USB cable to sync. The cable appears to the kernel as a serial device.
I'm running Debian testing and I've tried the version 0.82-1 from Debian unstable (recompiled on my box) and 0.82+cvs20040414-2 from http://packman.iu-bremen.de/debian/sid/multisync-cvs/ (not recompiled on my box). I see there has been some talk of the siemens cable problem being fixed. Do the above packages contain the fix? If they do, then is there anything I can do to help debugging. I'm a java programmer but dabble in C occasionally. Thanks for the great program. -- Tom Parker - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - http://www.carrott.org ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Sleepycat Software Learn developer strategies Cisco, Motorola, Ericsson & Lucent use to deliver higher performing products faster, at low TCO. http://www.sleepycat.com/telcomwpreg.php?From=osdnemail3 _______________________________________________ Multisync-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/multisync-users
