Hello, I hope somebody has managed to get this same setup working. Am attempting a GPRS connection (in UK) from p800 to a server running multisync (Debian) with the backup plugin. I have made the connection fine, and data is transmitted. However, although the backup file is created (just trying to get the backup plugin working first), it remains at size 0 throughout the process. After about (exactly?) one minute, my phone stops transmitting data, but neither the machine nor the phone actally timeout.
I recompiled the syncml libraries from CVS 0.8 branch increasing the connection timeout from 60 to 1200. I didn't think this would work, since I DO connect, and so the other timeout should be the one that works. Indeed, this made no difference. Is the issue with multisync, my phone, or the combination of the two? How can I begin to debug this and help to contribute?
