Hello, I just want to signal an oddity in the installation of plugins. I just switched to Fedora Core 2 checked-out the cvs version of multisync and installed it. Plugin installation goes weird since it does not add the .so. infix/suffix. So what I obtain is:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] multisync]$ pwd /usr/local/lib/multisync [EMAIL PROTECTED] multisync]$ ls libbackup_plugin libirmc_bluetooth.a libpalm_sync.la libbackup_plugin.0 libirmc_bluetooth.la libsyncml_plugin.0 libbackup_plugin.0.0.0 libirmc_sync libsyncml_plugin.0.0.0 libbackup_plugin.a libirmc_sync.0 libsyncml_plugin.a libbackup_plugin.la libirmc_sync.0.0.0 libsyncml_plugin.la libirmc_bluetooth libirmc_sync.a libsyncml_plugin.so libirmc_bluetooth.0 libirmc_sync.la libirmc_bluetooth.0.0.0 libpalm_sync Of course multisync does not see any plugin and is stuck. Useless to say that a simple mv made everything work again. [EMAIL PROTECTED] multisync]$ ls libbackup_plugin.0 libevolution_sync.so libirmc_sync.a libbackup_plugin.0.0.0 libirmc_bluetooth.0 libirmc_sync.la libbackup_plugin.a libirmc_bluetooth.0.0.0 libpalm_sync libbackup_plugin.la libirmc_bluetooth.a libpalm_sync.la libbackup_plugin.so libirmc_bluetooth.la libsyncml_plugin.0 libevolution_sync.0 libirmc_bluetooth.so libsyncml_plugin.0.0.0 libevolution_sync.0.0.0 libirmc_sync libsyncml_plugin.a libevolution_sync.a libirmc_sync.0 libsyncml_plugin.la libevolution_sync.la libirmc_sync.0.0.0 libsyncml_plugin.so Cheers ---Beppe--- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
