Which I can't confirm (FWIW, a sample of one isn't really meaningful).
It simply works for me (tm). If it is of any consequence: My FC2 was
installed from scratch. I apparently customized my FC1 beyond the
capabilities of anaconda, so I don't know if an upgraded system would
perform the same.

I made sure I had the relevant devel packages, compiled Multisync from
CVS, installed it an all was well.

I'm aware this is not overly useful to people having problems[1] but
maybe it encourages some people to give it a try report success/failure
here...

BTW, as I essentially re-installed Multisync from scratch an also
created the sync pairs from scratch I had a good opportunity to test the
duplicate detection (it recognized all phone entries as duplicates of
the evo entries) which worked really well for me.
