That's your problem. The 3.10 ROM is not supported by multisync and the
docs quite clearly state that.

Well the transfer is happening, but Multisync will read and write files
to/from your Zaurus that are not used by the 3.10 PIM applications.

Install OpenZaurus instead, downgrade to 2.38 or find out if the Opie
PIM apps are available for the 3.10 Sharp ROM, then install and use
those and get rid of the Sharp ones. Another option would be to start
hacking and include 3.10 support into the zaurus plugin for multisync
yourself.
