Well... its like this: The palm has a limited amount of fields (16 AFAIK). So every information that does not fit into one of these fields cannot be stored on the palm. If you change a contact etc on the palm and sync again, these information will be droped since the current sync engine cannot "merge" information. There is no way to prevent this in the current version.
