(never tried this).

You can also make the phone connect, using
rfcomm bind 3 00:0E:6D:0E:63:53 2
echo x > /dev/rfcomm3
when dund is running. But this does not always work. I just tried it and
it worked only for one time. Doing this at least one time for your
combination of bt-dongle and phone is absolute needed (except you have
used your dongle and phone with windows and mrouter).

On my setup, i get:
dund[17564]: Bluetooth DUN daemon
[connecting with the phone]
dund[17565]: New connection from 00:0E:6D:0E:63:53
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/rfcomm0

remote IP address 10.4.2.6
[disconnect]
Hangup (SIGHUP)
Modem hangup
Connection terminated.
Connect time 0.4 minutes.

I use Agile or Opera. It may happen, that the phone asks more than one
time - just choose "Bt" again. Or try the "echo x> ..." thing. But this
does not always work.

I would suggest to check your kernel-config. Perhaps some modules are
miissing with ppp-support. Or more likely, you forgot to add support for
"RFCOMM TTY support" in the "RFCOMM protocol support". I just activated
all features and compiled all modules. These modules are loaded in my
setup: sco,rfcom,l2cap,hci_usb and bluetooth.

In "PPP support", I added
"PPP filtering" <- not needed, I think
"PPP support for asyc serial ports"
"PPP support for sync tty ports"
"PPP Deflate compression"
"PPP BSD-Compresscompression"
"PPP over Ethernet" <- not needed, I think

Just check this, perhaps some of these are missing, but needed (not all
are needed, I think).

Perhaps the module-things
