I think you need to load some USB-serial kernel module (for Linux) in order for the cable to work (if such things is available for the SE cable). However, if it doesn't reallt work, you can get a cable used for older Ericsson phones (R320, T28, etc). I have one that I used for my R320 so that I can use it as a GSM modem. The same cable worked for my T68i and the T610 that I borrowed. I thinks since the models for R320, T28, R320, the cable interface for Ericsson, Sony-Ericsson phones are standardized -- Gideon N.
