Hello,

I have a Nokia 3650 mobile phone, a bluetooth USB adapter in my server
and am trying to sync my phone with Multisync running on my workstation.

Whenever I try to sync, the sync application on my phone aborts with the
following message:
Toep. afgesl.
SmlSync
USER 11

(Toep. afgesl. is Dutch for 'application closed')
All Multisync logs is 'Client connected from 10.2.1.252.'

Server and Workstation are connected with ethernet, with 10.2.1.1 and
10.2.1.2 as addresses. The phone has 10.2.1.252 as address, with the
server's pppd using proxyarp and 10.2.1.253 for the bluetooth ppp
interface. Normal network connections with my phone seems to be working
OK.

If I run a tcpdump on the server, I see the following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~#tcpdump -vv -s 1555 host 10.2.1.252
tcpdump: listening on eth0, link-type EN10MB (Ethernet), capture size 1555 bytes

21:53:31.708766 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 254, id 3, offset 0, flags [none], length: 40)
10.2.1.252.2287 > 10.2.1.2.5079: R [tcp sum ok] 1:1(0) ack 1 win 8192

The sync application on my phone is capable of opening a connection if I
ask it to sync to say port 80:
10.2.1.252 - - [06/Oct/2004:21:14:16 +0000] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 400 0 "-" "Nokia SyncML
HTTP Client"

I'm currently using the following Debian packages from
http://packman.iu-bremen.de/debian/sid/multisync-cvs, but also did try
the ones in Debian Sid:
ii libmultisync-plugin-backup 0.82+cvs20040920-1
ii libmultisync-plugin-evolution 0.82+cvs20040920-1
ii libmultisync-plugin-palm 0.82+cvs20040920-1
ii libmultisync-plugin-syncml 0.82+cvs20040920-1
ii multisync 0.82+cvs20040920-1

Any idea what causes the phone to abruptly end the TCP/IP connection?
