AFAIK, kannel is a WAP gateway. I haven't studied the details, but I do know that kannel is not needed if Multisync is run on the computer that makes the bluetooth connection. > The steps I use to connect to the phone are: > sdpd > sdptool add --channel=3 SP > dund --listen --channel 3 --msdun noauth 192.168.1.6:192.168.1.12 > crtscts 115200 ms-dns 192.168.1.1 lock > rfcomm bind /dev/bluetooth/rfcomm/0 00:0E:6D:26:8C:0C 3 > echo x > /dev/bluetooth/rfcomm/0 > > At this point I get an error on the phone that says something like > "App.Closed!". Have you tried debugging the ppp connection? Install ngrep and run it with '-d any'. Can you use any other software, such as putty for series60, to test whether the problem is in the ppp connection or with multisync? Did you notice Armin's corrections on the instructions, regarding wbxml patches? Look at the Wiki at www.multisync.org. Also, be sure to install gnubox.sis from the .fi site. I think they have a newer version.
