Just as a followup:

I applied the patch, (thanks Bjorn) and bluetooth was detected
successfully. Had a couple of problems with:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] evolution2_sync]$ ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --
sysconfdir=/etc && make
Putting files in AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR, `../..'.
libtoolize: `config.guess' exists: use `--force' to overwrite
libtoolize: `config.sub' exists: use `--force' to overwrite
libtoolize: `ltmain.sh' exists: use `--force' to overwrite
configure.in:33: required file `${MULTISYNC_TOP}/specs/multisync-
evolution2.spec.in' not found
autoreconf: automake failed with exit status: 1

Seems like the ${MULTISYNC_TOP} macro is not recognised. I just changed
${MULTISYNC_TOP} = ../../ and it worked. This gave rise to a missing
Makefile.in warning as well, as it was causing automake to fail.

After compiling and installing everything, (evolution2-plugin installs
in /usr/local/lib/multisync even if you specify prefix=/usr
to ./autogen.sh, irmc_plugin and backup_plugin install to the correct
path. This leads to Multisync not being able to find the evolution2
plugin.)

I set up my plugins, backup - irmc, backup - evolution2, evolution2 -
irmc.

Just tried syncing the backup -irmc pair first, which crashed the phone.
Turned out it was my fault, one of my contacts without a name entry was
crashing it. Deleted them, all worked fine!

Backing up my contact, calendar, and task data from evolution worked
without a hitch. Only gripe is you can only select one source to backup
for each, but I suppose this allows the separation of work and personal
data for backup purposes.

Syncing between a SonyEricsson T630 and Evolution2 went off without a
hitch. Todos and calendar entries from the phone showed up in evolution,
and vice versa. My only query with this is is it possible to sync more
than one calendar source? (Without the calendars being mixed up on the
evo side after a few syncs?)

All in all, this is great, as I had taken the plunge with Fedora Core 3
Test 3, and now I can sync again!

Great work!

Phil
