Never mind I fixed it.

But to help others in the same bind:

in ~/.evolution/addressbook/local/system delete all files that start
with msync, ie. msyncid1.changes.db

same goes for tasks
~/.evolution/tasks/local/system (file example tasks.ics-msyncid1)

&

~/.evolution/calendar/local/system (file example calendar.ics-msyncid1)


But I think this is a bug, since your should be able to resync everything regardless of these files. I have applied the phone number patch for contacts from http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=64305&atid=507005&func=detail&aid=1171384 no sure that would cause resync not to work.

actually it is bug (or maybe more of a missing feature). the evo2 plugin in multisync 0.8X does not implement the "get all objects" request. but the new plugin in opensync already has this implemented
