Hello,
I'm using the following configuration : - Mandrake 10.1 - Evolution 2.0.3 (mdk package) - Multisync CVS 20041130 (mdk packages) with evo2, irmc, irmc-bluetooth, (backup, kdepim) plugins
I have configured the synchronization of Evolution with two Sony Ericsson phones. It runs great! I have one problem, though. When I make changes in Evolution, Multisync never detects any change.
So I have two questions : - Did anyone already encounter this problem. I haven't seen this on the web. - How does the evolution plugin detect changes? What could be wrong/missing in my config?
There is a function from evolution 2 "give me all changed objects". so multisync / the plugin does not detect anything itself... I know that there are some problems with the evo2 plugin of multisync but i never heard of this one :)
Hmm, I see... As a workaround, is there any way that I can trigger a running instance of Multisync to sync all devices, like launching another "multisync --sync-all" or something ?
yes. you can delete the file ~/.evolution/addressbook/local/system/*.changes.db (for your "personal" addressbook). Evo2 will then return all objects.
Hope this helps.
Many thanks in advance for your help! Have a nice day,
Thierry
