Hi,
I might have the time to get a test installation going next week, so I
decided to look into the new opensync framework. What I did see is that
there is no syncml plugin yet.
its true that its not released yet, but im currently working a lot on it
to get it out the door.
Would it be possible to skip the syncml server in cases where there's
file system access, and replace it with a file. This would be some
configuration like:
EVO(PC) -> File
This will work
File -> Mobile (SX1)
How do you want to transfer the info from the files to the mobile?
File -> EVO(Laptop)
Works if the laptop can see the files (for example over samba)
Would this be feasible or is the file not save for this kind of thing? I
had it working with multisync .8 and the Zaurus instead of the Mobile,
but .8 won't work nicely with the SX1.
Should I give it a try or can't this work by principle?
TIA,
Torsten
