The problem is that a vevent without any timezone information is actually valid. It is then assumed that these events are in the gmt timezone, so i cant just reject them...
I dont know what would happen if we start converting timezones. Lets assume that i am in the gmt+1 timezone right now and i enter a event in the gmt zone for 18:00 gmt time. how should it be displayed? 18:00 (which would be the local time of the event) or 19:00 (which would be the time in the gmt+1 zone)?
Both the irmc and sunbird plugins currently don't use this semantics. I don't know about the evo plugin. With the sunbird plugin, this is admittedly my own fault. But actually I assume that when I now fix the sunbird plugin to correctly use timezone information (including interpreting "no timezone" as GMT), nothing will work anymore, because most plugins just seem not to do any conversion at all, and assume everything is in the local timezone.
