Did you also install ?
On my system, 'make install' installs stuff in
/usr/local/lib/multisync
Could you check whether the libraries are correctly named?
Some older versions of libtool didn't name the shared libraries
right. They didn't have ".so" in their name.
If that happens, you could manually rename them, e.g.
mv libevolution2_sync libevolution2_sync.so
