Dan,

A quick browse of the tree shows the multisync CVS to be quite old. Are any of the other patches needed? Are there patch dependencies?

Which directory should I be in when I apply the patch? The top multisync dir or the plugins/opie_sync dir?

Thanks,
Dan

Armin,

The sync is between Opie and Evo-2. Do you have any input on Evo-2 and
Opie?

Are there any pairs that work?

Thanks,

apply patch
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1171384&group_id=64305&atid=507005

to opie plugin and contacts work almost 100%, sometimes I get
backslashes in my contacts on my zaurus.

Regards,
Dan.

i think its the old issue again with evo2 sending 3.0 vcards and the
phones which only accept 2.1 vcards.

unfortunately multisync cannot convert the vcards during the
synchronization. This is a feature which is included in opensync but the
syncml plugin there is not yet completely ready (i suppose you were
using the syncml plugin?)

Jim,

Do you know if this and Evo 2 or a925 plugin issue? I suspect it is an
Evo 2 issue but I am not sure.

Hi All,

I'm just checking to see if we have a version of the Evo 2 plugin that
will work with my motorola a925 phone yet. As most of you know it
syncs the calendar and todo list pretty well but not the contacts.
Can anyone tell me what stage we are at? I know there are several of
us that could use it.

Thanks for all the great work that has gone in so far.

Subject: [Multisync-users] cvs multisync fails with Opie 1.2 and
Evolution 2.4

All,

The CVS multisync is installed successfully and Evolution 2.4 is
installed. Unfortunately sync fails to sync. There is no evidence of
data actually moving. This is true for calendar, contacts, and todo
list.

Has anyone successfully gotten sync to work between evolution 2.4 and
Opie 1.2 ?

If so how did you make it work?

Thanks,
Dan
