Don't worry, here is a solution!

I tried synchronizing my T750i using a USB cable and openSync, but got
nowhere. I got stuck in version conflicts when trying to install
openSync. I got further with multiSync, but the result was the same; I
didn't manage to sync anything.

 Here are my tips:

 1. Skip openSync, got with multiSync (available via apt-get).
 2. Buy a bluetooth dongle. Yeah, they're cheap (mine is one by
creative, not sure if it'll work any differently with other makes or
models).
 3. Install bluetooth and and multiSync.
 4. Configure multiSync (pretty intuitive, and really just a reflection
of what yoyr personal preferences).
 5. Start synchronizing, it worked like a charm for me (calendar,
contacts and task).

Oh, and when creating the connection (in the multiSync settings) you'll
be prompted to enter a password. The password is 1234 by default (i.e.
not the password to your linux machine nor the password to your
cellphone).

If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

PS. I am running Gnome on Ubuntu, but it should work the same on SuSE?
DS.
