Hello Friends,

I have a couple of issues. Please read its little long. I am describing a situation i
am facing.
 <o:p></o:p>
A Web Page has many areas, which displays POLL; ADS; News etc each of this requires
database access. I am using Access database and code for each of this areas is written
in user controls. Every use control is using data adaptor and dataset to read and
process data.
 <o:p></o:p>
Issues: Each of the controls has its own connection object too
Question: Cant I have common connection for a page?
Question Reason: Each user control is trying to open separate connection so at a
time I have 5 connection open for display
single page.
Problem: Page Generates an Error: Unable to Lock file. (Problem is
arising bcos it not able to lock access db)
Observation: I separated news/ads/poll table and stored each in separate
access DB. Now the page works fine. But this isnt a solution to this problem.
 <o:p></o:p>
 <o:p></o:p>
Question2: Can I specify sequence in which user control should execute?
Question Reason: perhaps if I can specify this somewhere then I could tell the
user control to wait until another finishes his work, thus above error can be
controlled.
 <o:p></o:p>
Please Guide me to solve!
