Hello friends,

Reposting this one with a hope that new member might be able to help. SOrry
for the inconvinience, if any.

Trying hard to develop a porgram to browse a table and let the user edit the
columns

I am using VB6 with SP5. The backenbd is SQL Server 7.

I have a sales order table and customer & item master tables

I am developing a browse rtn with foll. columns

cust ID

Cust Name

Order No.

Order date

Item code

Item desc

Item UOM
Qty ordered

Rate

Value

Remark

I want a drop down at UOM column from a table called "PUOM"

Also I want to allow the user to change QTy ordered and rate.

Value is a calculated fields, to be refreshed at the change of qty /
rate.

Order date is a calendar control.

I am using DBGRID control.

The appearance is not upto the mark

I am looking out for a generic routine to do the same if possible.

Becoz there are going to be few more options like this which I have to
develop.

Can Anyone help me? Point me to some resources?

I DON'T WANT TO USE TSPREAD ETC. READYMADE CONTROLS

Love

Chandramukhi
