This dropdown list resides as a part of a PageView whose parent is a Multipage and this Multipage is the targetid for a tab insode a tabstrip. Its like this. i have a tabstrip. this tabstrip has four tabs. the target id for the entire tabstrip is a multipage. the multipage contains four pageviews and the target id for the first tab is the first pageview. My Dropdown list resides in this first pageview I am able to get the value when its not inside this pageview and when its disabled. But when i put it into it , i am not able to retreive its value whether its enabled or disabled.
