Hi You should have following format for your select control (combo box) <select
name="cboName" > <option value="val1">Text1</option> <option
value="val2">Text2</option> <option value="val3">Text3</option> </select> So if
you submit the form with this particular type of combo box if if the option with text
"Text1" is selected then by doing request.forms("cboName") you will get value "Val1".
