----------------------------------------------------------- From: Sapan108231 Message 6 in Discussion Somehow, I pressed send before completing... I will continue with the first point of login page Your Form / Page when populated with the required information by the user, would be sent to a lowe layer (the Controller Layer). This layer will control the flow of the application. Lets say, the controller layer determines that It is to call a business method called VerifyLogin(UserVO userVO) that will verify the login of the user and otherwise, if the user is not verified, it will raise an exception Here, remember that you would not be having the UserVO in place. So even at the time of writing the code of your business method, the compilation would not have been possible. So the VerifyUser method, instead of accepting the UserVO will be accepting your AbstractVO. the definition will change to VerifyLogin(AbstractVO userVO). Internally, in this method, read the information from an XML that defines the attributes of the UserVO and generate the object. Load the object and perform the related database information.. Let me know, incase if you need more inputs Regards, Sapan Auto ID- Patni Patni Computer Systems Ltd http://www.patni.com On Thu, 2003-12-18 at 16:14, Shah, Sapan wrote: WIth this I meant to say that the VO Pattern would give MVC architecture, and with IL Generators (you might need to make one, if not available).. you would be able to generate the VOs since they just possess setters and getters... Since you want to generate objects at run-time, Value Objects would be a better option (since they possess only setters and getters). And you would want to use IL Generation techniques at run time. This can be a good flow, I feel 1. Let us say you are designing a login page for your application supporting MVC architecture and you aim to generate the objects at run time. To start with, create one AbstractClass that all of your ValueObjects would be extending. This would help in writing the parameters of methods so that they can accept your Abstract VO instead of specific VOs 2. I would want more information on whether is it a Web based application or not. The MVC architectural flow can differ otherwise. 3. The use of XML and reflection would be pretty much high in this architecture (for generating and using the generated objects) Regards, Sapan Auto ID- Patni Patni Computer Systems Ltd http://www.patni.com On Thu, 2003-12-18 at 15:55, Nitin Mekhiya wrote: New Message on MumbaiUserGroup Help needed to develop a Component Reply Reply to Sender Recommend Message 4 in Discussion From: Nitin Mekhiya Thanks Kalpesh i would try to get some information from the following. SApan108231 I am sorry but have not got you clearly. ValueObject Pattern...Sounds good.. I want to clarify that I have to have MVC architecture in my Project .Thats deal with the client. Now what i want to work upon is a component which can auto generate objects which play role in MVC architecture. View other groups in this category.
