Dear Sivanandam,

I am sending you the sample code for hiding the user name and password.
Actually i have created a resource file and using the resource manager i am
writing/reading from it. Try opening the resource file, you will be seeing
only encrypted file.

I have given this example which will help you to write the user name and
password, read and use them in Connection String. Here in this example i
have just read the user name and password but i have not used in the
connection String.

It is very simple.

I have attached a zip file containing the source code, i am have uploaded it
in the Chennai .Net User Group (Resource.zip).

I have also uploaded my other articles
    1. Building Windows Service in VB.Net.EXE
    2. Threading.zip
    3. Windows Service.ppt
