I have created an asp.net application connecting to sql database,for the same i did
the following procedure 1.created a udl file dsnwebsql.udl connecting to a database
2.added the following code in web.config file
<appSettings>
<add key="ConnectionString" value="File Name=E:\udl\dsnwebsql.udl" />
</appSettings>
3.and in code
Dim myConnection As SqlConnection = New
SqlConnection(ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings("ConnectionString")) Dim
myCommand As SqlCommand = New SqlCommand("Select code From centralmedical.dbo.desks",
myConnection) But it is giving the following error
Keyword not supported: 'File Name'. Can anybody help me regarding this,i dont want to
hard code password in application pages.
