Mumbai User Group is proud to be the first user group in India to host a PASS 
(Professional Association of SQL Server - www.sqlpass.org) chapter meeting. The 
meeting will be held on Sat. 27th Dec. from 5:30 pm onwards. Due to this, the meeting 
that was tentatively supposed to be scheduled on the 20th stands postponed to the 
27th. Topic: An Introduction to "Yukon" Speaker : Rushabh Mehta Abstract: SQL Server 
�Yukon� is Microsoft�s next-generation information management solution that will

database applications.     Share data across multiple platforms, applications, and 
devices to make it easier to connect internal and external systems.     Deliver 
robust, integrated business intelligence solutions that help drive informed business 
decisions and increase productivity across your entire organization.       Control 
costs without sacrificing performance, availability, or scalability.  In this 
introduction, we will cover some of the many features and enhancements to Yukon and we 
will take a first look at the tools/enhancements.   Target Audience: DBA / Developer / 
BI Developers / IT Managers Level: Level 1,2,3 Prerequisits: Basic knowledge of 
databases.      Speaker Profile : Rushabh Mehta   Rushabh Mehta a technology 
consultant, has led design, development and implementation efforts on several large 
enterprise client-server systems as well as decision support systems, which include 
predictive analysis systems, using Microsoft technologies such as Analysis Services, 
OLAP and SQL Server. His specialization includes business intelligence, data 
architecture & design and data quality improvement. Rushabh has also mentored many SQL 
Server developers and has taught SQL Server and Business Intelligence related courses. 
He has also helped create multiple development standards for SQL and DTS development 
and has most recently written a White Paper on "Configuration Management Best 
Practices for DTS".  
Rushabh is also a recognized speaker for the Professional Association for SQL Server 
(PASS) and an active volunteer with them for over 3 years. Currently, Rushabh is 
leading efforts to expand the PASS community to India, in partnership with INETA and 
Microsoft. 
   
 As usual there are lots of goodies to be given out courtesy INETA India and PASS and 
a couple of schemes for MUG members will be announced.
