Hello All, I am using Automation in Visual Basic 6.0 for my database updation process.
I need some help on Microosft excel functions.....
The Excel part of process is..I have 4 excel sheets with 8-9000
records each.
1. Open ExcelA. Select All,Copy. Open new Workbook.
2. Paste. Now in the last column(which is in this case P) write value 1 ie. P1=1, P2=1
and then drag the values so that the column will have the same value 1 till 9000th row.
3. Open ExcelB. Select All, Copy. In the end of the first workbook paste. Go to column
P. write values 2 and then drag.
4. Go on for 3rd and 4th sheet.
Now I am getting some problems while doing this using automation as i m new to it.
Problem 1 - I could open the excelsheet and then copy the data to new workbook and
save it. In second step i could write in cells P1 and P2 the value 1 but I could not
Drag it. In excel if u double click on these selected values it automatically copies
the value in 1 in all rows. Problem 2 - When I open the ExcelB. I will have to copy
all contents of the sheet and then copy that to the end of WorkBookA. Hows that
possible from Visual Basic Automation.
I could only find copying the activesheet in the same workbook function. While Copying
ExcelA to new workbook I have used
xlobj.ActiveSheet.Copy Please help or give some hints..If there is any code help
available it would be great. Waiting for reply from all of you,
 thrashmode
