----------------------------------------------------------- From: Manasvin_dotnetMVP Message 2 in Discussion Hi Nilay It largely depends on your business requirements how you design your background servics. Critical Processes are generally isolated into indiviual separate processes so that they are unaffected if the any of the threads cause a processwide failure. On the other hand the least critical tasks could be grouped into a single process as threads to save on resources. RAM usage, Task criticality & striking a effective balance is a consideration for juggle. :-) HTH Manasvin <FORM action=http://groups.msn.com/manasvin/_joinpromote.msnw method=post> Join manasvin <INPUT type=hidden value=manasvin name=commurl> <INPUT size=22 value="Your e-mail address" name=emailids> <INPUT type=submit value=Go> MSN Groups</FORM> ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/mumbaiusergroup/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
