I agree...   A good architectural practice which would apply in this too would be to 
keep your business logic separate, (tightly or loosely coupled as the case may be).    
It may seem easier in initial cases whence biz logic is smaller and light but it is 
later when amendments start coming in or the project starts to grow, when you realise 
the limitations of this shortsighted approach.   Good luck   Manasvin
