----------------------------------------------------------- From: Nilesh Message 1 in Discussion hi all, i am using excel sheet to populate my dataset which then i bind it to the datagrid... the problem is one of the rows of excel sheet has policy_id's... all was going well till the time the id's wer of the same type (abc123, abc124, asf234, s234, ssd) this one is like string format or (12, 32, 2, 234, 324) pure numeric. but the rows like (42lkjl, rwer123, 23, werw_2342) in this the dataset will have a null record for the row which has only numeric cause excel has default left aligh for text and right for numeric ... my clients dont want to left align the numeric values....
