The requirement is such that I have to implement, two-way bi-directional sorting in the grid. That means that if for example there are 2 columns, and sorting is done on the 1st one, and then the 2nd, we need to remember the last sort-order of the 1st column. I have found a solution, though its a long one. I am using hidden textboxes for each column, which means I need to have 5 textboxes for 5 columns. This makes for more-coding. The other way out is using ViewStates. Wanted to know if any one has done something like this before ? and found a better way to do it.
