Hi All,
We are building a web application in ASP.Net and need to store credit card numbers in
online (our) database. If someone can help with the below: a) Any third party
components which can be used to encrypt and decrypt the credit card numbers securely.
b) What is the best possible way to securely encrypt and store the credit card
information? c) Are RES and DES algorithm implementation in .Net secure enough? Also,
how can we securely store the private key in this case? What is the best approach for
storing the private key? d) We checked with AES algorithm too. It generates private
key at run time. But we are not sure how secure it is. If somebody has used AES and
can give some feedback regarding its reliability. Thanks & Regards Gaurav
