Hi
I am developing software for bank.
I have
10 fields in which 2 are file fields rest are text fields
This fields are in npTransaction.aspx. I am passing values
to
npTransactionSave.aspx using server.Transfer
for tag is
<form
name="frmTransaction" method="post" action=" "
enctype="multipart/form-data"
runat="server">
I am using SERVER.TRANSFER("npTransactionSave.aspx",TRUE)
to pass values (by
setting ). I am able to get only text field values.
and
2 file field values empty.
I am firing stored procedure based
on text field values and depending
on result of that , I want to
upload thoes fiels in particular directory.
one solution I got is , on click event of the
button I am calling one function in which I am uploading file in temp folder
("npTransaction.aspx") and then calling
server.transfer and passing file filed values using session and in next page
(npTransactionSave.aspx) if I get success falg in stored procedure I am
moving files from temp folder to main folder and on failure flag I am deleting
files.
CAN I DO IT SAME PAGE ie in 2nd page only (file
upload so that requests to server are reduced ).
Please Advice
