GSL has been ported to a Win32 DLL (but not .NET)... Now using GSL either by recompiling the source under VC.NET or writting a wrapper to access the Win32 DLL will be unfortunately time consuming... And Intel's library only has a free evaluation (plus is not directly supported by .NET) For now, I might as well implement the functions I require directly, rather than use a library... However, I might be considering porting GSL to the .NET platform at a later date ... I have been programming with Visual Basic since 1997, and I feel that its rather unfortunate that not too many people have taken advantage of the good graphics and array systems provided by VB for scientific applications (a number of people are surprised that I've written a medical imaging application using VB5). And now with a CLR for the .NET languages, its even more compelling to have a powerful mathematical support.
