How
about creating one BaseForm and let all the other forms in the applications
extend this form.
You
trap all the Timer based events in this form only - rest will percolate down the
forms

                Hi all,
In my application client has a requirement that
the application should be locked and show login screen once the
application is idle for 15 minutes. User can log-in again and
then he should be able to see all the open screens at that time.
If some other user logs-in he should get "data will be lost"
message and then he should be able to continue. The application
is VB.NET MDI and SQL server with multiple layer architecture.
Activating timer in Application.idle and adding handlers
to mouse and keyboard will not work as there can be many forms.
                Any help is
      welcome.
Alex
