Another way is this: Just above the datagrid, add the following line: <a
name="#datagrid"></a> [ Datagrid and stuff... ] instead of doing
window.opener.location.reload() do this:
window.opener.location.replace(window.opener.location.href + "#datagrid"); The above
may not work properly with IE due to certain security patches. The alternate way is -
IN PARENT PAGE 1) Create following hidden field: <input type=hidden"
id="hSelfURL" runat="server"> 2) In Page_Load, write: hSelfURL.Value =
Request.Url.ToString(); 3) Create a JavaScript function: function reloadSelf()
{ location.replace(document.forms[0].hSelfURL.value + "#datagrid"); }
Now, from the pop-up, instead of doing window.opener.location=..., simply do
window.opener.reloadSelf(); Once this is done, the window will automatically scroll
to the top of the datagrid once the page loads.
