Hi All, I have a question regarding the interoperability of .NET and COM
components with respect to threading . In simple terms 1) I have Multithreaded .NET
client Accessing .NET remoting object which is implemented as Singleton 2) This
remoting object is basically a wrapper around a OCX control which has STA thread model
Question:Multiple threads try to access same "OCX" object using remoted Singleton,
how the invocation of OCX method takes place , I mean ,Are requests queued up one
after another while previous one is executing OCX method? How this situation is
handle by .NEt framework . I haven't written any Thread Synchronization code
(performance issue), Bcoz only thing ie. shared across different methods is "OCX"
object ... Or do i need to handle synchronization for OCX object?? Your help is
appreciated.. Kind Regards, Vijen
