Dispose is an implementation for a class that supports the IDisposable interface. This
method used to perform cleanup activities and can be called explicitly whenever an
object is no longer required. A destructor (or finalizer) in .net, on the other hand
cannot be explicitly called and in .net, is not the best choice for doing cleanup
because there is no guarantee when it will get called. Traditionally, the destructor
is called whenever the object is removed from memory - i.e., when the object goes out
of scope. In .net, however, even after an object goes out of scope, the object remains
in memory till the GC detects that it is no longer needed, and then removes it from
memory. Thus, there is not guarantee that the destructor will get called immediately
when the object goes out of scope. Destructors, however can be used to ensure that
resources used by object will be released when the GC removes them. In this sense,
they act as a fail-safe mechanism in case the Dispose() method is not invoked.
