Hi Santosh,
Step#1 Create following section in
web.config
<appSettings>
add key="DBConn" value="user id=xxxxx;data
source=sqlserverPCname;persist security info=False;initial
catalog=yyyy;password=zzzzzz"
"/>
</appSettings>
Step#2 In your code where ever you
are using connection object add this line of code in Load event.
Private Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As
System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles
MyBase.Load
Me.SqlConnection1.ConnectionString =
ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings("DBConn")
End Sub
Now when ever you change your sql server , you just
need to change connection string in web.config file. No need to compile your
application.
