Also most of the MUG posts are on .net and other development technologies. Majority of discussions are around developer community related queries. But if you are a IT professional who is actively involved in handling IT resources, system administration, network monitoring, testing and deploying new servers and applications and also want to share your technical expertise with others in the industry then there should me more postings on such issues. I personally do lot of newgroups searching and it really works. Sometimes i dont get exact solution on my problem but it surely helps in finding the links or a new way to find the solution, and i am sure many people will also agree on this. When i observed that not many people are actually posting on issues like windows deployments, network configuration issues, firewalls on MUG or IT Pro SIG, i thought of finding any such group which is active on such topics. while doing that i found Windows Support group on http://groups.msn.com/WindowsSupport which is really doing that.
